Welcome

We’re so glad you’re here. As a small, family-run avocado farm, we take pride in growing and shipping fruit we truly stand behind. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms.


1. Shipping Schedule


To ensure your avocados arrive fresh and in the best possible condition:

  • All orders are shipped on Mondays or Tuesdays
  • This timing helps avoid weekend delays and ensures delivery within the same week


Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information so you can follow its journey.


2. Ripeness & Handling


Our avocados are shipped unripe on purpose.


This allows:

  • Safe transit without bruising
  • Time for you to ripen them at home


Depending on conditions, your avocados will typically ripen within a few days after arrival. For best results, keep them at room temperature until ripe.


3. Our Quality Guarantee


We stand behind our fruit—your satisfaction truly matters to us.


If your avocados arrive:

  • Damaged
  • Defective
  • Or not up to our standards


We will make it right.


4. Damaged Orders & Replacements


If there is an issue with your order:

  • Please contact us within 2–3 days of delivery
  • Include a photo clearly showing the damage
  • Email us at hello@arroyoavocado.com


Once we review your request, we will:

  • Offer a replacement shipment, or
  • Provide another appropriate resolution


5. Delivery Information


Please ensure your shipping address is accurate at checkout.


We are not responsible for:

  • Delays caused by carriers
  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses
  • Packages left unattended after delivery


Because we ship perishable items, we recommend bringing your package inside as soon as possible after delivery.


6. Refunds


Due to the perishable nature of our products:

  • We do not offer refunds without verification of an issue
  • Approved claims (with photo evidence) may be eligible for replacement or refund at our discretion


7. Our Promise


We’re not a big operation—we’re a family farm. That means:

  • We care deeply about what we send out
  • We want you to love every box you receive
  • And if something isn’t right, we’ll work with you to fix it
